Cantwell Watch

For anyone wondering why posts to this blog have dropped off, there have been a number of reasons, some personal and some political. To the extent I have found time for political observations and comments, I have been focusing primarily on watching the race in Washington State for US Senate. Here is the link to Cantwell Watch. Check it out.

Sometimes one has to "unplug" for a day or two so that one's perspective doesn't get skewed. I have to do it, myself. If not, one can quickly turn into a blithering idiot from being exposed to so much insanity.

So what is the chance we can get a strong Lib to run this race? I don't see how Cantwell can get re-elected, even if you write her office you get the strangest responses back from her, not good re-election politics there. McGavick I don't think would be any better then Cantwell, we really need someone else that could win this race!

Members of the LP Campaigns Committee have asked alternative medicine guru Dr. Jonathan Wright to enter the race as the Libertarian candidate. Word is he is still thinking about whether to accept the invitation. There are few libertarians in Washington who would make a better candidate. Time will tell what he decides to do.
